Dr. Ernest earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management before pursuing a medical degree. He later completed a residency in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine, combining diverse disciplines to deliver holistic care.
Dr. Mark Ernest completed his undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Quillen College of Medicine in 2013. He went on to complete two years of a Psychiatry residency at the Mountain Home Veterans Administration Hospital in Johnson City, TN, focusing on caring for veterans.
While serving in law enforcement, Dr. Ernest witnessed how societal systems often failed to meet people’s health and emotional needs. This experience motivated him to enter medicine and help patients achieve lasting wellness through compassionate, integrative care.
His entrepreneurial background fosters innovation in healthcare delivery, while his experience in law enforcement gives him a unique perspective on human behavior, resilience, and the importance of mental health in overall well-being.

Dr. Mark Ernest completed his Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil. This renowned program deepened his understanding of how to merge evidence-based medical science with holistic approaches to patient care.
